"We had an amazing stay at Mme Sol’s house over Christmas. Unfortunately car trouble meant we were without transport but we spent the time relaxing, enjoying the full kitchen, comfortable lounge, fireplace, games, table tennis and badminton. The house is beautifully furnished, warm and fully equipped - everything has been thought of. Mme Sol and Mme Louchard checked in to make sure we were OK and provided advice and also bikes so we could travel to the village. We wished we could have stayed...

"A beautiful place which is cozy and nicely decorated and furnished—a little out of town for a quiet, soothing visit. Outdoor dining area, lovely pool and a large play area with all sorts of sports equipment. A well-stocked kitchen, cd player and a variety of cds. Upstairs is a nice area to relax, watch tv, read, etc. All the bedrooms were very nice. Highly recommend Patrick’s lovely home and hospitality. Great base to visit regional chateaus."

"Precious little farmhouse in a village not far from Blois. Marie-Claire and Marie-Claude were both very attentive and gracious hosts. Upkeep of the house could have been a little better but considering it is a 400+ year old house it was quite pleasant. It would be nice if the history of the house was posted somewhere. Would have loved to know how this house was used back in the day. Overall enjoyed our brief stay."

"Nice little rental with minimal but adequate kitchen, but not for cooking any elaborate meals. Butcher, Boulanger and small grocery store all within walking distance. Very close to Château Chenonceau and numerous wineries. Small pool but nice to have on a warm day."

"The cottage, attached to the owner’s farmhouse, but quiet and private, has been recently renovated to the highest standard. Enormous care has been given to every detail, high-quality appliances and bed linen, lovely furnishings and comfy beds. There is a large, heated, perfectly clean pool right out in front and a large garden where the children can play. "We all enjoyed our stay in Emmanuelle’s house. The clearly recent renovation makes for a comfortable accommodation. Two bedrooms have en-suite baths, the third king bedroom has an adjoining full bath; a triple twin bedroom is upstairs. The kitchen is well equipped with appliances and dishwater. The app based tv means that you aren’t bound by local cable tv offerings. There’s a nice yard, pool and plenty of parking behind an electric gate. "We loved staying in this older and totally renovated home near Amboise and Chateau Chenonceau. It is a lovely home that is part of a renovated compound surrounded by grape vinyeards near the adorable town of Franceuil. The house is perfect with 2 bedrooms upstairs and a lovely well-appointed and renoovated kitchen and living room complete with a small but upscale gas wall fireplace for colder nights. The home has everything you need for a fantastic get-away including a lovely swimming pool...

"Owner exhibited no interest in our stay. Too busy with film crew even to help out with power cut. Not even in country on arrival. I had to contact local Marie to obtain his phone number to point out he hadn't sent us any info on where the cottage was. Even then the inadequate info sent us the day before we left for France sent us to the wrong "WHITE GATES" (not even visible from road). No welcome pack, just a note in kitchen warning us of £250 Euro fine if we didn't do the washing up on...
