"This place feels like an odd mix — some aspects feel like a hip boutique hotel while others seem a bit “budget.” There is no actual lobby or dedicated hotel staff in the evening, so you collect your key from the large bar on the ground floor. The rooms are nicely decorated and well appointed (eg, nice bathroom fixtures, Nespresso machine in room), though quite dark. Good location in historic city centre. Nice touches like a refrigerator on the corridor that has bottles of cold filtered water."

"This was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I’ve had. We specifically booked this hotel because we were told the room had air conditioning. It didn’t. Our room was on the top floor, and the heat coming through the ceiling made it unbearably hot. Sleeping was almost impossible. The lift was also out of service, meaning we had to climb several flights of stairs every time we left or returned to our room, which was especially frustrating in the extreme heat. We completed a wake-up call...
