One quick note: If you are coming from the train station, you will need to take the water taxi and go over the Rialto bridge on foot, which does not have a ramp. You must carry your luggage up and over the stairs. The Hotel does not have an elevator, so you must carry your luggage up at least one flight of stairs to get to reception and further up if you have a room upstairs. This was not a big problem for us, but just a warning for anyone that is bringing lots of luggage or can't lift and carry their own suitcases. "
