In mid-November, you can watch just-hatched sea turtles instinctively flop their bodies through the sand into the soft waves of the sea.

It's a very powerful experience, and one I'd recommend to anyone!

"Good to sleep with the sounds of the ocean waves is very soothing. Beach vibe, sandy floor first floor. Hardwood floor second floor. Great location. Plenty of restaurants and bars near by. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Cabins are in a great location about 50 meters from the Santa Ana Volcano trailhead. Only issues is there was no restaurant or WiFi, There’s a bunch of people that cook food across the street but they close up around 5pm. "

"Stayed two nights during Semana Santa. The place is directly on a nice beach, but once you are there, you are there and there aren't any other bars and restaurants around. You'll need a car to reach it. The owner was very attentive, asking numerous times if we liked the place. It has a certain charm but I can't say that it has much in the way of comfort. For the price we paid, you'd expect some beach lounge chairs with cushions and chairs that aren't falling apart. Breakfast was...

"Not a hotel. 2 separate 'bungalows' with a common area kitchen, pool and palapa. We did not have a car but found a local in Playa El Tunco who knew the location and found us a driver. Could be a real challenge for first time arrivals (no sign). Spanish speaking caretakers live nearby eager to please. Bit of a hike to El Tunco, plus 100 or so steps to the bungalows. Very dark at night hiking from town. Would be better for small group self catering. Price too high for what you get."

"Our 2nd time staying in this Amazing hotel! We absolutely love Boca Olas! The room is impeccably clean, spacious, and well decorated. The pools are beautiful. Amazing breakfast options with the view of the ocean. Excellent customer service! Lovely garden and resting area. You can even make reservation to book for their pool which is located in the second floor. The location is Excellent because it’s a good short walk to Playa Tunco and yet it’s still quite not to hear the activities going on over there making a perfect setting to get a restful night sleep. Book your stay here for an Amazing experience!"

"Location is safe walking distance to stores and restaurants.. hotel is very clean staff is great and the breakfast is good. The only issue to me was the beds are small . They’re more FULL size not QUEEN.. but in all stay was pretty good . Peaceful and quiet.!"
