"Super friendly staff, in a magical place in the deer park surrounded by nature, some great little shops, shrines, and animals. Nara was the absolute highlight of my trip to Japan and this Inn was a dream to stay at. We loved our time here. "

"The interior was very homelike and organized. Everything was very clean and the owner was quite nice. The train station and several convenience stores are also just 5 minutes walks away."

"I thought the gorilla theme was really cute and liked the shared space dorm feeling. Some guests were cheerful and not especially quiet but once it got late it was quiet and we slept well. It actually felt festive and pleasant. The bath facilities were clean. There could have been more garbage bins as they got full quickly and it became difficult to separate. The space had a good feeling and it was comfortable to sleep on futons even as a family. There's not much privacy so it might not be great...

"Not only was the property clean, easy to locate, walkable and quiet but the lady who runs the hotel is an absolute sweetheart. The breakfast she made us was better than a lot of the food I was eating at restaurants. I would recommend this stay to anyone. "
