"The space - number of rooms and bathrooms - was great for a big group. We were able to sleep multiple families comfortably with no issues getting ready with the number of bathrooms. There was plenty of free street parking close, so we also didn't have any problems finding parking for all our cars. Some more specific instructions on how to use the key pad (to enter and lock) would be helpful, but otherwise no complaints! I would recommend this Vrbo! "

We luckily found free street parking within a block of the house for a full-sized pickup truck. The tenants living in the basement posed little issue - we heard them and smelled their cooking, but they were no more bothersome to us as we were to them. "Overall, we had a great time in Chicago. The area was perfect and it’s located right across a school so it made it a bit more entertaining when seating out in the balcony. The home had all we looked for and was very much pretty clean. Nice place to stay and will definitely reconsider for our next stay. "

"The area and visit were fine. The host was communicative. The downstairs renters were very loud, and smoking, so it crept up into our place. The lighting was very sparse in some areas. It was a cute place, but I don't think we'd stay here again."

I emailed the owner with a list that included the following: ~ WATER WAS HOT ENOUGH TO SCALD! ~ Upstairs hall bathroom - no t.p. holder, bathmat, towel bar & only one hook for 8 people to share. Toilet seat broke on the first day. Toilet seat in master bathroom didn't fit, one hinge was broken. ~No dressers in any bedrooms - no place to put personal items. Small plastic (one broken)...

"I really enjoyed my stay here . The hotel is very historical and is known for hosting beautiful weddings, it’s huge , restaurants on property, and is very close to everything there is to see in downtown Chicago . Very close to the river walk , millennium park, coffee shops/breakfast, the loop , Taco Bell , primark , aquarium etccc love it there and would definitely come back another time !!! The city is such a vibe and lots of people walking the street even at 10:00 at night a lot of people out and about and it made me feel safe and not alone ! "
