"This hotel needs refurbishing. There were places where panels had come off the wall, lights no lights longer came on in corridors, wooden frames around sinks and mirrors were cracked and broken BUT this was one of the cleanest hotel rooms abathrooms"

"Three positive considerations: 1- Location. Hotel is perhaps in the best part of Anglet and very close to Biarritz. You can walk, run or ride a bike safely thanks to infrastructure created in that part of the Angler. 2- Sorroundings. A beautiful Golf Course is what you see around the hotel. Beyond the property, you can find great coffees shops, restaurants and the beach. 3- Parking. Is easy to park the car with many slots available as part of the hotel facilities. "Had a lovely short stay at Auberge Basque. We took a garden room which was very cute and well decorated. The only downside was it was next to the carpark and road which was noisy and you could only have natural air by opening the back doors - We didn't want to use the air con so at night the room was a bit hot. The 6 course tasting menu was fantastic with some very interesting flavour mixes!"
