"We loved our stay! The house suited our needs for our 2 night stay in Lake Como and we loved the proximity to a lovely hike over the peninsula and away from the "touristy" spots of Lake Como. A couple notes... the pool view is not the view from the house and there is actually a house in most of the view of the house with only a side view of the lake out of the main window so that was a disappointment and honestly a bit deceiving based on the pictures. There were no toiletries (soap/shampoo)...

La comunicazione con il proprietario scarsa, le luci dell atrio e del boschetto bruciate quindi risultava inagibile di sera e non in sicurezza. La tv solo in tedesco. Il cinema non ho potuto usufruirlo perché alle mie richieste mi hanno risposto dopo giorni. Pulizia della casa non perfetta. Posizione e panorama stupenda....

"This appartment has a beautiful view of the mountains and lake. It has a beautiful terrace and it is very nice that there is a fence. It’s is big enough for a small family but a bit more cutterly and glasses would be nice otherwise you are washing up right after every meal. The hosts are very friendly!!"

Die Villa Family liegt sehr zentral in Colico, so dass die Besuche am See, beim Bäcker, in den Eisdielen und in den vielen leckeren Restaurants und Pizzerien zu Fuß möglich sind. Auch gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt in Fußnähe, so dass nur für den Großeinkauf im nahe gelegenen Einkaufszentrum das Auto erforderlich ist. "When we arrived we couldn't believe our eyes. We were directly facing the Lake & to our left we could see snow on the Swiss Alps. The steps down to the house meant it wasn't disabled friendly but that didn't affect us. We found everything comfortable but needed instructions for how to get some heating. "The Villa Perla was delightful. A quirky mix of the old and new.Good kitchen facilities for a group of 8. The bedrooms were stylish and the living room offered comfortable seating for everyone. The garden and pool were superb and very fully used during our stay. The owner was very helpful when we had a query and the issue was immediately resolved. ( Thank you Suzanne and Bianca). The Vrbo helpline was also very efficient. The star of the show however was the magnificent view of Lake Como from...

"The house, property and views were beautiful! However the location for our group was a bit too rural. . A couple of people in our group could not manage the walk down to the bus stop due to the steepness. Taxi service was non existent, so we could not have dinner in Menaggio, as the buses stopped early."

"We just returned from a 1 week trip with our family. The house was beautifully clean and on arrival Claudia met us with a pizza incase we were hungry from our trip. She also provided lots of amazing recommendations for places to visit and booked us a restaurant reservation for the night we stayed and recommended a fantastic guy for a a full day boat trip we wanted to do (amazing - highly recommend!) "Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in einem sehr schönen blitzsauberen Haus mit toller Ausstattung und einer tollen Vermieterin, die sogar einen wunderbaren Kuchen gebacken hatte. Leider haben wir sie nicht persönlich kennengelernt. Dafür aber die deutschsprachige Verwalterin, die ebenso toll und zugewandt war. Auch war sie immer unproblematisch erreichbar. Sogar als wir wegen Erkrankung unserer Tochter später anreisen mussten, waren wir mit viel Verständnis immer in Kontakt. Vielen Dank...

"We really enjoyed the uniqueness of the apartment as well as the location. We had our two daughters with us (19 and 25), the bedrooms were a little tight, but we understood that would be the case when we booked. The check-in process was a bit tedious (first time I've had to send pictures of the water and electric meter before and after a stay). "I would not stay here if I rebooked this vacation. Negative: The apartment was clean enough but didn’t feel professionally cleaned. The finishes in the unit were low quality. The bells from a nearby church were very loud in the main bedroom. My biggest negative was the security. Our door didn’t have a normal lock. We only had a latch to secure our door and my wife was a little uneasy about that. Positive: Parking was included which was nice since we rented a car. The self check in process...
