The hotel is above and beyond the staff is super nice. It has great location, super clean. It’s close to everything. I will definitely stay in the future if I ever go back, the only thing that I will suggest as to have is more traditional Thai breakfast. Also it has a very nice atmosphere and it has a super nice library on the second floor.

My stay at Makka was a lovely break in beautiful surroundings. Although at the heart of the old town in Chiang Mai, and within walking distance of many of the attractions, the hotel itself is quiet and serene and the main courtyard space with water features and shaded areas made for the ideal introduction to the property. Staff were efficient and friendly at both check-in and check-out and the room was comfortable and extremely clean with bottles of water and soda all included. I didn't sample the breakfast on this occasion but the space set aside for it again looked lovely. All in all, I had a fabulous stay at Makka - many thanks to all of the team who made it so relaxing.

We had a wonderful three-night stay at Makka Hotel. The location is excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Their outstanding hospitality made our stay very enjoyable. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, although they would benefit from a modern upgrade. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chiang Mai.

The staff were super friendly. There was lots of parking out front of the hotel. The breakfast included with the room rate was cooked to order and it was good. Rooms were clean. The library area ( inside and outside) was a great space to go relax and read.

Beautiful, restful architecture with trickling water fountains and green ferns - this hotel is a haven of Thai quiet care. It may not be 5* but it feels like it, with Thai style.

Nice boutique hotel but that’s not enough ..

Nice boutique hotel but too many drawbacks. Biggest drawbacks: noisy rooms as you hear everything in the hallways (we had two rooms - both the same), breakfast outdoors only and many bugs that bite, no bar/beer to be bought. Best things: cool design, friendly staff, very central in old town

Stayed only one night, but loved it. When I return to Chiang Mai, I will definitely choose this hotel. It’s affordable. The room is beautiful and the hotel itself is spectacularly, attractive, and sensual. Felt like I was staying in some sort of Yoni temple. It’s on a very quiet side street. Our first floor room had a walkout patio. Could not recommend more Haile.

Very comfortable with a great staff. Only disappointment was my television didn’t work all week despite reporting it daily to front desk. Oh well, you don’t go to Chiang Mai to watch TV!

This was an amazing experience- one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The food was delicious and exquisite. The rooms were artistic and tasteful decorated. The location was perfect, right at the heart of the city, and it made any shop easily accessible through a minor 3-8 minute walk. The staff was the heart of the hotel. Their kindness and willingness to help was exemplary, but more than that it was warm. They were very kind and dedicated, and it wouldn’t have been the same without them.
