"Toshali Royal a great host, everything during our stay was perfect. The rooms are spacious, food at the restaurant is fresh and taste good. I must say the staff really knows how to host their guest, all of them are courteous and helpful. Parking can be inconvenient at locations where they are located,but parking staff ensures there are no issues and efficiently handles the parking of your vehicle."

"Heavily overpriced as the hotel is not maintained. One of the pillars is tilted and the slab is slanting. The structure in dilapidated condition. The TV was not working till night. The bed is basic. Stray dogs in the compound. Food is average. Would not recommend."

"Mixed feelings about this place. Not all bad but not very good. Room was COLD asked many times for another heater they didnt have one. Asked maintenance to fix the heater in the room it was blowing cold air. He came pressed some buttons said its working then left. It was not working. There is no spa so they should removed that from the title. No bathrobes. Almost all tv channels didt come in and games room is in terrible condition with all doors open. "This is a great hotel. The breakfast buffet is terrific and all of the staff are great. We were given a free upgrade both times we stayed at the Oberoi. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Mall Road and other areas of interest "

"This hotel has lots of character. The staff are helpful and polite. While there was a huge wedding party during our stay, it still felt quiet. The food options, although limited, were delicious. The hotel bar, again although it has limited options, was full of character. "

"Excellent choice of hotel for stay at Shimla. Though The Family Room was a bit small for a party of three adults, it was adequate for our needs. The breakfast choice and selection was plentiful and staff went beyond to cater for our needs and made our stay enjoyable. Dinner at hotel was one of the best. Food was absolutely delicious. I would definitely stay here again for our next visit. "
