"What this hotel lacks in updates it makes up for in customer service and convenience. This is indeed a 3.5 star hotel decor wise and there are some older dropped ceilings and rugs in some rooms but for this location, everything else can’t be beat."

"I’d definitely add that—it makes the review feel more personal: This was our second stay at the Black Walnut Inn, and once again, we had an amazing experience! This time we stayed in one of the suites, and it was absolutely amazing—beautiful, spacious, clean, comfortable, and full of charm. The entire property has such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was wonderful as well. There’s a reason we decided to come back for a second stay, and after this visit, we’ll definitely be back again. We highly recommend the Black Walnut Inn for anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway in the Amherst area!"

"I really love staying here. It’s no nonsense clean and i feel safe traveling as a woman alone… However they really need to step up their morning breakfast. I eat gluten free and they never have any. I’ve asked for ivermectin a month now and they just tell me they will mention it…."
