"An older motel that still need some maintenance done. It was very clean and the staff was amazing. They are working hard to update the motel but it's age does show. I felt everything was very clean. It's bare bones but for the price far better than I was expecting. They do allow pets. Dee the owner is very sweet and helpful and easy to deal with. She asked that people call her any time if they need anything. It also had great water pressure in the shower."

"We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Rivertown Retreat. Very clean and cozy with everything we needed. Great location close to lots of restaurants, easy walking. Our host, Jayne, made check in/out very easy. Great place for a couple looking to enjoy the Ste. Genevieve area. "

"Bathroom floor was dirty. Bugs on window sill & dead beetle on “office” chair. Draperies hanging off the hooks so had to fix a few in order to close. Only plus was washcloths & towels were new & nice shower head!"

"Everything was great minus the children running through the halls yelling all through the night and the messes that they made during breakfast because they were unsupervised by parents. Which is on the parents not the hotel. Otherwise the place is great as always. "

"Very nice clean room with comfortable bed and nice shower. Kitchenette was good with microwave and mini fridge, basic dishes. The owner was very easy to communicate with. Good location with Mary Jane’s restaurant bar next door had excellent food and nice atmosphere. My only small suggestion would be to put variable light switches so you could turn down the lighting at night. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again on my next trip to Perryville."

"Due to traveling for work-this is by far the nicest place I’ve ever stayed. It is SUPER kid friendly, fully equipped with everything you may need and not even think of, extremely clean, the attention to detail in building this place was so well thought out- the hosts are AMAZING people- and we are already planning a reunion here in the future. The folks that came for the birthday we hosted here now ALSO want to come and rent because it is such a nice and relaxing get away. The pictures are wonderful but don’t do this home justice. We are actually sad to have to pack up and leave. If you rent this place- be prepared to be blown away from the hosts going above and beyond on every detail of this home. The pool was heated and clean- the main shower is HUGE. Definitely would give more stars if I could.!!! 10/10"
