Lovely friendly couple who have turned their 19c priory into a b & b, retaining all the character and architecture of the period, as well as the furniture. Good bathroom facilities and good value for money. The surrounding rural area is stunning. "

"Ace hotels - you know what you’re getting. No fuss but good value. Great location for one night stopover. Aldi/shops two minute drive away. Very close to small airport so had some noise from small planes flying about. Clean hotel and room. Staff helpful. Had to retrieve extra towels etc from reception as bathroom was set up for one person, not three! Couldn’t get the air con to work, was set on heat. Fortunately in April it wasn’t too hot!"

"We had an amazing stay in this lovely hotel. So quirky and full of character. Beds - amazing, best sleep ever. Walkable everywhere in Troyes old town, plenty of restaurants and cafes on your door step, grocery shop 5 min walk away. Lovely owners and housekeeping girls. Will definitely stay again as we are in this area often visiting my husband’s family. Definitely recommend!"

"Tucked away in the beautiful town of Chablis, this hotel has the aura of luxury and elegance without the price ticket. Very clean, spacious bar, lounge and restaurant. We enjoyed a private sauna and relaxation before an excellent evening meal. The toon was very charming and comfortable with an excellent shower. We decided upon breakfast too, which didn't disappoint having a good selection with some homemade pastries, fruit cocktail and a range of loose teas. A range of cold meats, desserts and cheeses too."

"Very old building but with so much character. We only stopped overnight but as a family of 5 it was perfect. Clean and lots of space. Shower needs updating and a bit of soap would have been handy but otherwise great. I’d stay again!"
