Clean rooms, large bathroom with great shower, friendly owner!
Everything about the Meadowlark deserves a top tier rating! From the moment you walk into the lobby, Austin makes you feel at home. The inn is so clean and well-decorated. The rooms are lovely and you can’t beat the property. Not only is it beautiful, it is set up to spend time outside in nice weather. And as all the other reviews have started, breakfast was just wonderful. We stayed while visiting Cooperstown for the first time and just fell in love with everything. We can’t wait to come back and wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else!
Our stay at The Meadowlark Inn was amazing. Austin was great with our kids, welcomed us to explore the property, and went above and beyond. We hope to be back!
A laid back atmosphere, that was clean, comfortable and very inviting. Austin is friendly and conscientious. He goes above and beyond for his guests. It’s a small place and easy for people to talk to one another. A nice vibe. We would definitely come back again if we’re in the area.
Austin, the owner, was incredibly hospitable. Everything went super smooth, rooms were clean and spacious and the backyard had a BBQ patio and a great variety of games all free to use!
Would definitely recommend!
Austin was very hands on. The place was super clean and everyone was very friendly. It was probably the easiest, most positive stay we've had at a hotel in years.
Thanks for making our stay easy, Austin!
The owner of this inn was absolutely fantastic. He was a delight to interact with and was wonderful with our children. I recommend this inn HIGHLY to families, and with the baseball field (and bats and balls) it is a perfect accompaniment to a nearby Cooperstown HOF visit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
This was a wonderful place to stay. The owner, Austin, was wonderful. He had tables all set up and breakfast ready in a relaxed setting. So many little touches...large windows with birds coming and going, plants on the tables and unique lamps, big back yard, and beautiful flowers. We would definitely stay here again. It was also very easy to meet and converse with other guests at breakfast.
We loved every minute of our stay at The Meadowlark Inn. Austin made us feel welcome, and the facility is beautiful, extremely clean and comfortable, and in a quiet, picturesque location. The view from our room was lovely and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The breakfast was wonderful and there were clearly several return guests who enjoyed his hospitality and friendliness as much as we did. If you are visiting Cooperstown it is just a short, scenic drive away. We highly recommend The Meadowlark Inn and would happily return for a future visit.
We were a little skeptical about staying in a motel but needed a place near our destination. The Meadowlark motel is the sweetest little place I've ever seen! From the second we walked into the lobby, our charming host, Austin made us feel welcome. The room was spotless and quirky and in the morning we had freshly made waffles with an assortment of fresh berries and a variety of snacks to go. Well worth the price. While you're there visit the Rose&Kettle restaurant a few miles away!
We were greeted by the owner and he was caring and friendly. He even made waffles for us for breakfast. The only downside was the toilet in our room was too low. It was like it was for a child. We also had a hard time figuring out how to use the TV. There could have been better instructions on how to use the TV and cable. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.
