However, it's the staff that made this a memorable stay - everyone I saw had a smile and went the extra mile. Oh, and the breakfast was first-class."

"Excellent hotel in many ways & very welcoming to our 2 dogs. However the property itself needs some tlc on the exterior - a lot of moss & the white paint is peeling. It is still grand on the promenade & have to say the food is wonderful. Would definitely stay here again & recommend you try it. "
