"Absolutely lovely hotel in a stunningly restored Renaissance palazzo. We booked for one night and ended up staying three nights. Spotless clean, excellent service, and tasteful rooms in a scenic little town with few tourists. Ideal for day trips to Asti, Alba, Fossano, Cuneo, and other culturally relevant sites in the Piemonte. We fell in love with Mondovi, its excellent restaurants, and the calm genius loci. Barbara and Massimo, the owners, gave us a tour of the palazzo and the neighborhood....

"the owners of the property could not do enough and were must charming. Carlo and Paola work so terribly hard but always ready to talk and smile with the guests. It is very much a family hotel with the gentle Nonna always about to help if she can. But to the main reason this hotel was chosen was because of Carlo's wonderful cooking. Cannot recommend it highly enough!"

"It was an experience to have live in an old Monastery setting. The place is beautiful and nicely kept. Rooms are big but spartan. We accepted it as it is in a Monastery. Breakfast was ample and excellent coffee."

Not to mention honey, and fruity dressings. Dinner and breakfast will remind you of your grandmother’s Sunday cooking with a gastronomical quality. "Well kept and clean rooms. We had a relaxing time in the hot tubs and sauna during the evening, and the breakfast had everything we needed. All while enjoying the stunning views. The owners were welcoming and we felt at ease the whole stay. We got good recommendations for dinner places and local sights. Would definitely book again and recommend!"
