River Chess at Chenies Bottom: Dodd's Mill leat This broad channel is actually a leat built to provide a head of water to the former Dodd's Mill that is behind the photographer. The actual river flows here in the valley to the right. (By a totally unplanned coincidence I see that this photograph has been taken two years to the day after 139218 and 139226 also in this grid square.)
