Strategically sited next to IFS shopping mall and opposite Taikooli. Because of it’s location, there were road closures around the area and our taxi driver could not reach the hotel on New Year’s Eve, day of check-in. We had to call the hotel for help, fortunately concierge was helpful with their instructions and we had to do a 500 m walk dragging our luggage in the drizzle. Fortunately hotel gave us a nice room and that made up for it. Excellent staff at the breakfast restaurant, front desk and concierge. Price was higher that most hotels in Chengdu but it includes free minibar.

Niccolo Hotel Chengdu is exceptionally amazing, the staff are nice and helpful. This hotel is my number one favourite in Chengdu. The location is at the most privileged centre of Chengdu besides Taikoo Li and IFS, the trendiest shopping core in Chengdu, with the stunning view you won’t regret any moment in the hotel. The hotel is immaculately clean and staff are around keeping it that way. The staff are also extremely friendly and will do their utmost to make your stay s comfortable as possible. The rooms are enormous and have all of the facilities you would expect from a luxury hotel including a pillow menu where you can choose whether you want to have a lavender scented pillow etc. We did not have breakfast included but did enjoy this each day. The cost was cheaper than a british breakfast breakfast but the choice was fantastic with a cooking base for omelettes etc. and every available option. We didn’t make use of the hotel pool or gym but did view them and would have loved to give them a go but we were just too busy each day. The hotel couldn’t be in a better place if you want to be in the centre of Chendu. It is part of a massive shopping centre which is just one of many in the vicinity. Be warned that a lot of the shops are really high end fashion but the costs are more expensive than at home. I am a watch fan and within a 100 yards of the hotel there is every luxury brand you could imagine including some you couldn’t. We had a wonderful stay at the Niccolo and will certainly return there. Thank you to all your staff. We also noted how beautiful the hotel always smelled as you entered - how do they do that ?

One of the best hotels in the heart of Chengdu

We have stayed at Niccolo during each of our visits over the 3 years and we have always enjoyed our time there. It is located in the one of the most popular areas of the city and offers luxurious accommodations surrounded by many restaurants, shops and other great things to do in Chengdu. The service is 1st rate, the facilities are modern (with a great swimming pool) and the buffet breakfast is one of the best in the city. However, while Niccolo Chengdu is one of the best hotels in the city, it does have competition now. The best hotel I have been to

It was one of the best hotels I have ever been. Very comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom with both bathtub and shower, smoking rooms completely odour-free, there were many western options for breakfast, despite being in China, rooms soundproof, swimming pool beautiful and sauna working. I was completely satisfied beyond expectation.

The staff is amazing. It happened to be my birthday while I was staying at the Niccolo Chengdu hotel. When I came back from dinner, there was a cake and handwritten card waiting for me in my room! The cake was quite good too! Great place. Highly recommend.

This is my second time staying at Niccolo, and both stays have been great overall. The location of the hotel is its strongest plus, along with the service and the overall design. One thing they could improve on is the selection of their breakfast buffet.
