Beautiful Cottage Set In Quiet Location 2 Mins Walk From The Town

Set in the heart of the Cotswolds, this charming cottage enjoys a secluded and peaceful position, within a few minutes’ walk of the town’s bustling market square, antique galleries, interesting shops, restaurants and pubs. Adjoining another property, the cottage benefits from a pretty enclosed, sunny patio garden with sitting out area, perfect for al fresco dining or relaxing with a glass of wine. Ideally positioned for exploring the area with many National Trust properties and unspoilt villages close by. All the Cotswold countryside is close by to take full advantage of. Bourton-on-the-Water (‘Venice of the Cotswolds’) is 5 miles. Further afield Stratford, Warwick, Cheltenham and Oxford are all within an hour’s drive. Shops 200 yards.

The cottage was ideally located and perfectly appointed, and our hosts were promptly responsive to any questions we had. This was the ideal spot from which to base our Cotswold adventure. Our stay at Amber cottage was perfect . The location couldn’t be better- a few minutes walk into the village. We used the cottage as a base to explore the Cotswold region. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. Steve and Nicola were very responsive and wonderful hosts . We are looking forward to our next stay

Amber Cottage was one of the best homes we have ever stayed. From the moment you step in, you are struck by the cozy decor and cleanliness. It is obvious that Steve and Nicala take pride in their home. There is a well stocked kitchen, with a welcome basket of wine, eggs, cake, milk, and coffee. Thank you! Wifi works well, good shower, comfortable bed, ample space, and nice patio. Inquiries were met with prompt responses, checkin/checkout was easy using the lockbox. The location was central and convenient, and we had no trouble finding parking on the street. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would love to return.

Comfortable, clean cottage in a quiet idyllic location, close to all amenities. The owners supplied everything you need, even fresh flowers, wine and chocolate cake on arrival! What more could we ask for? Thank you Nicala and Steve.

Excellent location: just a short couple of mins to walk into Stow in the Wold where there’s plenty of places to eat and drink. Very clean property and communication with the owners was excellent. Be aware that if you have a slightly larger car, parking outside the property can be a bit awkward, as it’s a narrow space but we just used road parking instead. Overall very happy with our stay.

Great location for exploring the Cotswolds. Cottage is very spacious with lovely furnishings. It was exceptionally clean. Bathroom could do with an update but the rest of the cottage is beautiful. It’s situated in a great position just behind the high street of Stow.

Amber cottage was perfect for the 2 of us but would suit a family or 2 couples equally well. It was very clean and well set out, we largely ate out but there is everything you need to cook. I had worried about parking but no need it was fine just outside the cottage. The position of the cottage is fabulous! 5 minutes walk to the main square. A great break would definitely book again.

The cottage was very tidy and everything we needed was there for us. Obviously the owners have put alot of effort into making guests feel welcome including a lovely welcome gift. If you are looking to explore the Cotswolds this is a great base with most locations within 1/2 hr drive.

This place was fantastic! Our family of four really enjoyed having this cottage as our home base for exploring the Cotswolds. Wonderful to have our own parking and also spacious living and dining areas to relax together. The place is stylishly and thoughtfully decorated with amenities to make the stay so very comfortable. Also great being able to walk to the town center - wonderful shops and restaurants. We would stay again!

This was a perfect location to explore the Cotswolds and beyond. The cottage was only a few minute walk into the heart of Stow on the Wold but away from the traffic and noise. The cottage had everything we wanted to relax as well as cook when we didn't feel like going out to one of the many great restaurants. Steve and Nicala were great hosts and the welcome package of wine cake and coffee and milk was really appreciated.

House was comfortable in a great location. Did not receive check-in instructions until the day before and only after several requests for the to be provided. Everything worked out, but it would have been helpful to have the details provided much earlier, including owners contact information (email), phone numbers, and property address.

We came as a family of 3 and this was a perfect cosy cottage for us. Although a lovely size and set up for 4. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we booked and Steve and Nicala were really helpful throughout. We would definitely recommend. 😊

Huisje was goed ingericht en door goede communicatie van de eigennaars goed te vinden. Supermarkt vlakbij, en het plaastje zelf was ook vlakbij en lopend te ontdekken. Huisje goed ingericht, alleen badkamer was de douche veel te laag (konden er niet onderstaan) en er lagen tegels los in de tuin
