"This hotel looks from the outside like a set from Fawlty Towers, but there the similarity ends. Staff could not have been more friendly, eager to help and accommodating. Our room was situated in a recently refurbished or recently built wing, brand new everything. Well done, fully recommended. Thank you."

"Gym closed, spa was open but had to pre register at reception. Hotel bit dated deffo needs a bit TLC. Room I had was ok, but again in need of some help. Bed very comfy, and towels a plenty. Was ok to stay"

"This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. The spa is great & spa therapists super helpful. What makes this place are the staff running the restaurants & bar. Lead by their brilliant Maitre D Francis, these young people work like trojans but always have the time to make their customers feel special. This isn’t fake friendliness, they are genuinely interested & super helpful. There could probably be more of them at busy times but they handle the pressure with grace & class. Special shout out for Francis, Lenny, Hattie & Elliot. You made our relaxing weekend with your warmth and professionalism. Food is great too! We had the best time. We might opt for a larger room next time though. Overall wonderful experience made by the very hard working staff."
