Sydney House Chelsea

10/10 Excellent

"Great location in a lovely Chelsea neighborhood, about a 5-minute walk from South Kensington Station, near Imperial College, and 10–15 minutes from the Natural History Museum. Plenty of nearby restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops. Rooms have Wi-Fi and TV, with breakfast available for an additional charge. The elevator is tiny (one person!), so expect some stair climbing. I'd recommend requesting a quiet room away from the road. Lovely, welcoming staff and a convenient location. Perfect for my needs!"

Cheval Phoenix House at Sloane Square

"The property is very centrally located and it was referred to me by a friend so I didn’t check much before booking. Despite being serviced apartments there is daily housekeeping, they bring up your food orders upstairs - so it was more like aka - high end service despite being a small property with 34 rooms only. Staff were super friendly and rooms are clean and modern, very well equipped with espresso maker, filtered water, Bosch washer dryer, heater and AC. They add a 4-5% service charge at check out - which was discretionary- I didn’t mind since the staff was super nice, but auto “tipping” on hotel stays should not be the norm in my opinion."

"I had a great time staying in this place. Really nice location. Awesome amenities. I was able to do a much needed load of laundry in the middle of a long trip throughout the UK. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the WiFi in the flat didn’t work (we were given an alternative that worked some of the time) and we couldn’t figure out how to work the TV (apparently there was a 2nd remote that we couldn’t find). Outside of those two things everything else was amazing. Would book this place again."
