"Location is great for visiting MIT or Harvard. The colleges are all within walking distance. View of the river is amazing! Short uber/lyft ride to Boston and the sights. Onsite restaurant is good. We ate at the restaurant several times, once for dinner and 3 times for breakfast. No complaints. "

"The Marriott Newton is very close to the T, so we were able to take public transportation into Boston every day of our visit. We had a river-view room, with a pretty good view as it was directly below. We only ate breakfast at the hotel, but both the ‘cooked for us’ and buffet options were tasty and plentiful. The honeydew melon was surprisingly ripe, and the strawberry/blueberry/blackberry combo was perfect. Our room was very clean and the housekeeping staff obviously works very hard. "
