Enter on ground level to the five-metre-high entrance hall and circular “Engineers room” study, a very stylish room to catch up on your emails. Upstairs on the first floor are the three stunning bedrooms, spacious and contemporary bathrooms; and finally the snug for when you want some quiet time to yourself. Another flight up to the top floor is the piece de resistance, with a show stopping open-plan sitting room, dining area and sleek kitchen. Here, the 12-meter-wide glass wall opens out onto a large balustraded terrace where you can enjoy breath-taking views across the River Crouch to Southend and the North Downs beyond. Little wonder the property deservedly received the Maldon’s Building Conservation Award.
