Upon check-in, I was surprised to find additional charges, including nightly parking fees despite ample parking space available onsite, as well as a R250 per person damages deposit, which I declined to pay, leading them to take my driver's license as collateral. "This was a beautiful property, the staff was so friendly and helpful. They coordinated a wine tour, and made great recs for food in town. They upgraded our room, which was lovely and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was excellent as well, it included yogurt fruit and granola as well as a full English, coffee and juice but they seemed willing to make whatever you wanted. I had avocado toast one day. I would definitely recommend this guest house and would love to stay again!"
