We loved being the little bit away from the busy beach area perched up in the mountains with glorious views. It is worth ensuring you book an ocean view room! Beverages, tea, and snacks were stocked daily, and the little touches like a reusable glass water bottle with filling stations as higher quality slippers were a convenient touch. We were without a vehicle and felt no inconvenience at all. The hotel shuttle runs as often as you need it and will get you to the most frequented spots any time (park entrance, beach, night market). Breakfast was exceptional and the pool area was lovely - huge, super clean, well-maintained, quiet, and has all the little extras you need. Our only wish was that the restaurant had more light snacks or meals at a more reasonable cost. We ended up feeling a bit forced to go down to the main street for lunch and dinner, a street with limited hours and options, even though we would have preferred to have remained at the hotel at times. Overall, we loved our stay, were sorry to have to leave, and will certainly plan to return one day. Ignore any negative reviews. I have a fairly high bar when it comes to hotels, particularly around cleanliness and decor, and it was easily met. "
