We absolutely loved this house! We had such a fantastic stay in Chattanooga and this house added to our trip. This was a family vacation, it was me and my husband, my dad and step mom, my brother, s-i-l and my 9 year old niece. Plus my youngest brother was able to come for two nights of our stay.
My husband and I took the master suite and is so perfectly laid out with a huge bedroom and on-suite bathroom. That bathroom is fantastic! It has a huge counter with double sinks, a private toilet room, soaking tub, separate walk in shower, attached walk in organized closet, and attached laundry room! Each of the sections of the master bath are connected with pocket doors and pocket doors out to the bedroom or hall. I would love to have that in my own home!
The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, dishes, pans, upscale appliances, coffee maker and Keurig., toaster, microwave, etc. Open plan for the kitchen, dining and living rooms with lots of chairs at the dining table, bar chairs, and nice living room furniture. There is also a half bath on the main level.
The house is well decorated with tasteful, whimsical decor, nice art work and eclectic accents. Butterflies, stars on the bedroom ceilings, hot air balloons, and a super cute kids room.
Upstairs are 3 bedrooms and an office set up with computer monitors. The kids room has 2 bunk beds and cute books and toys. The kids room and one of the bedrooms are connected with a Jack & Jill bathroom which has the toilet and tub in the middle section and then each side has its own sink. The other upstairs bedroom and office share a hall full bathroom.
The driveway is large enough to park 4 cars and there is a porch with benches which we sat on enjoying our morning coffee.
Chattanooga is such a neat town and the food was fantastic! Shopping was great as well. We ate at The Boathouse, Stir, Milk & Honey, Urban Stack, had Clumpies Ice Cream, 8F Ice Cream, and more. A special local find was Dub's Place which is a diner with great milkshakes and made to order diner food. We visited the aquarium, went to a little festival in downtown with kids activities, food trucks, live music and shopping booths. We visited 2 plant nurseries, Songbirds Guitar museum, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Top Golf, walked the pedestrian bridge, shopped at Warehouse Row, we needed a longer stay to do everything Chattanooga has to offer! What a great city and this house was a perfect place to come home to each night!
