"Stayed just for 1 night which was too little time! My wife said it’s very charming and “homey” (I agree), and the host was very nice and friendly. Breakfast included home made bread, crepes fresh jam and cheese. Just remember that it’s a very old building with no elevator filled with quirks and the washroom is a little small but it adds to the place’s wonder. Definitely would stay again!"

"This is a beautiful old chateaux-style building, which is owned and run by the family who live there. Sandrine and Frank are both excellent hosts and very friendly and welcoming. The location a beautiful country setting, next to vineyards. It is around 5 miles from the nearest large town. We decided to go out for the evening to the local town and Sandrine was so helpful in booking us a taxi and restaurant. One small tip - if you go into town it is best to drive yourself as the taxis are...

"Chateau Saint Trys is magnificent and unique. Simply extraordinary in every respect, including a remarkable 400-year history. Beautifully manicured grounds with excellent views. Madame de Brosses is a remarkably gracious and friendly hostess, who looked after every detail and was helpful at every turn, including making restaurant recommendations and reservations.
