"Had a wonderful time at the Meeting House. The apartment was very clean with a very well equipped kitchen. There were some lovely touches as well. A well stocked welcome pack including bread, milk and various preserves along with little vases of flowers. The flat was very comfy and would definitely stay there again."

"This property is just as described. It has great views over the birding sanctuary. While it is a bit out of town, it is close enough to explore this coast easily and have a quiet place to relax in between excursions. There is a lift to the first floor where the apartment is and there are stairs inside the apartment to the living and kitchen area. The small bathroom has a shower and the larger bathroom has a tub. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others."

"This property has been obviously set up for rentals w/o anybody trying to live there. For example, the light in the bathroom is super bright and motion activated -- imagine going there at night... and the sensor doesn't "see" the shower, so the light goes off just as you've shampooed your head. The kitchen isn't equipped for cooking (no functional knives, only one pan and a huge one at that, some drawers cannot open because they run into handles of others, no dish soap provided and exactly one...

"Host was extremely helpful leading up to our stay and provided lots of useful information. It was next to another shepheard’s but you still had plenty of privacy. The garden area was spacious and the hot tub was amazing! The hut itself was very cosy and toasty when the log burner was on. The bed was comfortable. The shower was warm and powerful. "I travelled up from London and needed somewhere to stay close to Bamburgh castle. I booked Purdy Lodge. It was close to everywhere I wanted to visit. The hotel is lovely and clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with lovely views of the countryside and Bamburgh castle. The food in the restaurant was amazing. I have no complaints at all with my stay at Purdy Lodge and will definitely stay again the next time I come to Bamburgh. "
