"Would highly recommend. Rustic room with extra sitting room, private balcony overlooking the river and palace of the Popes. Enjoyed walking around the old village, just down the hill from Maison Orisini. Host was wonderful providing maps and a tasty breakfast. We stayed 4 nights. No.5 Bus close by into main town of Avignon or 35mins walk."

"Our stay at Bastide de Bellegrade was absolutely wonderful. The place is an elegant oasis just minutes from Avignon. We had a car so we appreciated the ease of parking on property. It was absolutely serene in its setting, the decor was fabulous, our room lovely. The pool is something I'd like to have at my house......and the breakfast was all that we could want. "Avignon is a fantastic place to visit, and I am glad I was able to take my wife there to see it (I had visited it before, 40 years ago). La Banasterie was beautiful, clean, comfortable, safe and literally steps away from the major sites in Avignon. The owners were extremely helpful, even helping me figure out how to retrieve and item I left on the train. If we ever visit again, I would not hesitate to stay in this same location."

"What a great find for us! This place is so charming! We wish we had booked for longer. The parking is a little tight as European cars have gotten larger over time, but it’s safe and gated. The staff was extremely welcoming and was able to get us a dinner reservation at the last minute. We weren’t here long, but the pool looked inviting and every room was clean and comfortable. They make their own face and body scrubs, which feel amazing! Definitely will be back!"

"I loved the location, right across the street from the old city. There was a grocery store next door, very convenient. The property seems to be student residences as well as hotel and has laundry facilities, safe bicycle storage, recycling, an exercise room and breakfast for an extra fee, which we didn't do. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was fine, the shower was great, the room was very spacious, but with a characterless, unadorned feel. Still, over all, good value. "
