"Lovely hosts with great local recommendations. Went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed . Spent a full day relaxing by the pool during a heat wave. Easy access to St Emilion. Comes with a bonus friendly fat chateau cat on the grounds."

"We stayed 1 night. The hotel is clean, quiet and beautifully decorated. The staff were helpful. You can park in front of the hotel for a fee. The breakfast was ok, too heavily on the carbs/sweets."

"Ch Haut-Brisson must be the best kept secret in all of the Bordeaux area! The rooms were recently renovated, are clean, very well kept, and the place happens to be a well known winery with Grand Cru designation. This coupled with the passionate and hospitable staff, made our stay unforgettable! Gabriella is a Sommelier and will answer any...

The renovation of the chateau provides a modern and spacious room that has also retained the charm of the old building. The meals were delightful and prepared by the hosts using fresh local produce. I'd thoroughly recommend Malis Castera to anyone wanting to stay in the wine region."

The property is very peaceful and super quiet - about a 30 minute drive to both Bordeaux and St Emilion. Breakfast is provided each morning with a nice selection of items and access to great...
