"Lovely property. All rooms have view of vineyard and Seneca Lake and a balcony. Very peaceful and quiet. Good sized room with large bathroom that includes separate mirror and counter for make-up, etc. So lots of shelf space. Bathroom could use a little upgrading, but certainly would not stop me from staying again. Great area - close to wineries and cheese/ice cream tasting. Only about 10 minutes to Watkins Glen."

"Been to the finger lakes three times and this was by far the best place I’ve stayed at! The house has everything you could possibly need and it’s a great area for access to wineries and Watkins glen. We got plenty of use out of the hot tub and it has the prettiest views. Perfect for a trip with family or friends. Candace was the best host and was super responsive and even took a call from us later in the night to make sure the hot tub was at the temperature we wanted. A PLUS HOUSE HIGHLY RECOMMEND and A plus host!"

"With a large family coming into town all needing accommodations, this lakefront home was perfect! We weren’t too far away from Ithaca and the actual graduation. Other options in Ithaca and closer to it were far too expensive, but most of all didn’t suit the needs for the number of people we had. This place was perfect! Near to several breweries and wineries and plenty of space in the home for our entire family, it really was the best choice we could’ve made."

"Nice cabin made out of rough cut lumber makes a nice family retreat. Love the building and location that appears to have been built by the owner. Plenty of room for 8 of us with beds with linens and room to spread out. It's on a small cliff side on the lake with a beautiful deck, stairs down to the water, and a dock on the water. I can't believe some old reviews criticize the amount of stairs? It's on a cliff side, what do they want ladders? Crazy. The stairs are very sturdy with a nice hand rail all the way down.It seems the bathroom, shower and kitchen were recently renovated with a tile shower, cabinets, counters etc... some older reviews talk about the poor shower etc... it's no longer true.Be aware it has no central heat or air, IMO it should say that at the top of the description. It was in the high 40's when we arrived and cold in the cabin. After looking everywhere for a thermostat I finally realized there was not one and found space heaters in the closets and it took a bit to warm it up. It does say in one little spot in the description it's "seasonal", and when I contacted the property manager about the lack of heat that's what she said, but is not at all clear in the description, and it does not say what "seasonal" means, I didn't think it meant no heat, to me that means only rentable in certain seasons? It should clearly say no central heat or AC. Oddly the outside doors are only held shut by cheap slide bolts that don't work right. Buy dead bolts please! "
