"Very friendly staff, very clean room, perfect location"

"Ch Haut-Brisson must be the best kept secret in all of the Bordeaux area! It is situated just a short 7 minute drive to the Medievel town center, it is not far from Pomerol, Lalande de Pomerol, and other nearby bordeaux villages. "It was an absolute delight to stay with Nathalie and Olivier who have lovingly restored the Chateau. They were charming hosts and made the stay one to remember. The renovation of the chateau provides a modern and spacious room that has also retained the charm of the old building. The meals were delightful and prepared by the hosts using fresh local produce. I'd thoroughly recommend Malis Castera to anyone wanting to stay in the wine region."

"We had agreat time at The Chateu, the staff was very attentive, the place was clean, our room was big and confortable . I recommended 100%."

"The hotel is centrally located inside the old city walls. You can walk to all of the major historical monuments. The breakfast was great - Continental but good value and tasty. The restaurant right next door was good. We greatly enjoyed a dinner at La Tertre (you will need a reservation)"

"Hotel manager was exceptionally helpful, kind and hospitable. We trully enjouyed our time in Melchior and with Mr. Manager"

"Staff were friendly and helpful. The coffee machine in the kitchen for breakfast was not working well, but other than getting a good cup of coffee, everything was fantastic! Room was beautiful, and the winery tour was also really nice. Highly recommend!"

"Lovely rooms with delightful views to the river. Very clean hotel. Good breakfast choice added bonus is secure parking although it is 13e per night."
