So despite its name, this is not a hotel. It is definitely a motel and that is how it should be filtered on Expedia. Parking was annoying- Expedia description states that there is a parking garage with which the motel has a relationship and this was not available on our visit so we had to find parking in a busy area. Also, a freight train line runs behind this property which is quite loud. There is also a bar nearby that is quite loud at night. On the plus side, the staff was friendly. Ultimately, this is probably a place better suited to a lone traveler interested in the local scene. I would not recommend it for families.

Very kind staff, clean and fun hotel. Great location with lots within walking distance right on UVA Campus. It is about $20 per night for parking at an affiliated garage very close by. They have no vending, but there is a food truck parked out front which seems to have a good menu. It was not open when I visited, so it might be seasonal. Thankfully there are plenty of food options right outside the door. Would stay again!

This is a very unique property with throwbacks to the '60s! The rooms are quite recently updated, and very comfortable. They have a Little Mod trailer for morning and lunch food, made to order which is very good. Within walking distance to many of the UVA standard haunts, eateries. Overall a great place.

What an adorable hotel! I loved the 50s theme. The room was clean and quite attractive. They thought of everything- from a record player in the room to a noise canceling machine. The staff was friendly and helpful. If I had anything negative to say, its that parking is a challenge. There is no designated parking or a parking lot, so you have to park on the street. I would definitely stay here again.
