"The location of the house and barn is excellent. For whatever reason we did not pickup on the fact that there are two buildings. Since there were only two of us we only used the house. "Great location to the sights of Vermont. Spacious home for 4 adults. Everyone had their own bedroom. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen is small but fine to make adequate meals. But for us , we like to do takeouts when on vacation. This home is on the water, making great views. Too much sea grass to get over to swim but there are kayaks to enjoy."

"If you are good with an authentic rustic environment- complete with small rodent catch and release trap under the stairs, a little water coming in the bedroom ceiling when it rains, bugs galore, and supplying your own drinking water— then OK. Everyone else consider yourselves forewarned. There has been absolutely no maintenance done on this property in decades. The local staff are wonderful."

The house was stocked with everything we would need and the hosts were very attentive. Helpful Info was provided on activities and shopping in the area. One suggestion for future guests is to bring reading lights, since lighting in common areas was rather dim. "

"This property was the perfect place for our family members from Pennsylvania, Maine and Arizona to gather to be near our parents who live at Wake Robin. Given the rainy weather during our stay, we spent a lot of time in the house and loved all the community areas for cards, working puzzles, family meals, etc. The multiple bedrooms, fabulous views, and bucolic setting were wonderful!
