We stayed for a week and slept well. Found it clean and comfortable, stocked with all necessities and some generous extras. Good location for walking to town and exploring the area. Would stay here again.
This was a great place to stay while visiting Charlevoix. It was very close to many things. The house was clean and had the things we needed. We would be happy to stay again if our travels ever bring us back to Charlevoix.
This was a cute little getaway for our weekend in Charlevoix, where we came to attend a wedding at Castle Farms. The home was nicely appointed and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. The host provided excellent communication in the days leading up to our visit.
Very clean! Enjoyed the location of the home to downtown and Castle Farms for a wedding. Check in and check out went perfectly. Would definitely stay again.
This is an amazing home. Everything was exactly like the listing said. It was easy to find, and on a quiet street. Very roomy, comfortable and clean. Shelly was proactive in reaching out to make sure we had everything we needed. She also left us detailed information about the area and recommendations. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in this area and would absolutely stay here again.
We had a great time here. The house is very clean and close to the downtown area so we were able to walk to most places. The back patio is nice for sitting and relaxing. Charlevoix is central to many places to visit in the area. Mackinac Island, Fisherman's Island for Petosky stones. The library is amazing!
Our group of 5 girls away for a girls weekend was very impressed with how well stocked this house was. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to go to which is nice so you can avoid the downtown traffic. The listing was accurate and the check in/check out process simple. This is a great find and we will stay again when we’re able to get back to the area.
Wonderful amenities, well stocked, VERY clean, short walk to downtown. Host was amazing-helpful,great communication, instructions were clear. Thank you for hosting us.
I can’t say enough about this cottage! The inside is decorated beautifully, very clean with absolutely everything we could possibly need for four days! Two bedrooms and two bathrooms - perfect for us! We had to contact the owners twice to ask a question and they responded immediately! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Shelley and Jeff!
My wife and toddlers stayed here. We are particular about cleanliness especially because of the kids, and this place was great. Well stocked with misc things like coffee and pots/pans.
Our code didn’t work at check in but owner messaged us within minutes with updated code.
Good location for walking to downtown and the main beach. Other things to do in the area like castle farms (outside of town) are a short drive.
Would recommend for a family vacation.
Pros: Property manager was great at communicating, the house was clean for the most part, located in a nice neighborhood, patio out back with small table and seating, air conditioned and ceiling fans available for the upstairs bedroom. Cons: The front window curtains don’t cover the entire window (we had to hang a towel in the middle of the window so people couldn’t see in at night), facial hair shavings were around the bathroom faucet upstairs, I had to take a lint roller to our pillow cases because of hair and fuzz on them, no individual packets of sugar or any creamer for coffee in the morning.
Rented this for a wedding at Castle Farms Labor Day weekend with our two kids and in-laws. My inaws have never been in or rented a VRBO! They were blown away!
The house was perfect for us, the four of us took the upstairs bedroom and my in-laws were on the main floor. We each had our space and bathroom which was perfect. The location was great- just a short 10 minute walk to the downtown, we did it a few times a day. We brought bikes and that was great to bike around town. The house was small and quaint but super clean and had all the amenities we needed!

PROPERTY CONDITION - ODOR in house
other wise clean. Area around house and neighbor area not nice at all.
Need some sort of drapes,or blinds on the backdoor, & kitchen window. Drapes in front room did not cover entire window. Anyone could see inside.
When I first walk into house, a very distinct ODOR, I wanted to leave premises. ODOR overwhelming- a musty, mold order. DO NOT RECOMMEND BASED ON ODOR, and lack of blinds/drapes on back door, kitchen window, and without covering entire front window & door.
It was a great place to stay at while in town for a wedding. We loved that it was walkable to downtown Charlevoix. The house was very clean and had everything we needed.
