This house is right on Spring Street, easy walking distance to all places on upper King, the hub of Charleston's top restaurants and nightlife.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook up a feast, including a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and utensils. There's also plenty of counter and cabinet space for all your cooking needs.

The 2 bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for you and your guests to spread out. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated and features comfortable beds, ample storage space, and large windows that let in plenty of natural light.

The Wonderer is a private club in Downtown Charleston, offering a 2-acre campus with resort-style amenities. Two weeks before your reservation date, all guests will be provided with a one-pager that includes booking information to reserve access to The Wonderer.

I will be available for whatever you may need as I live very close to the property. I will very likely be in the Charleston area as well, but if not, I can still provide guidance or recommendations for activities you may be interested in.

You will be able to walk to most places on the peninsula. Uber and Taxis are available as well. 20 minutes drive to Folly Beach, 5 minutes to Mt. Pleasant, 15 minutes to Sullivan's island, 20 minutes to the airport, and 25 minutes to Isle of Palms!

My son and I and our small dog enjoyed our stay. We thought the beds and furnishings were comfortable although the barstools, are too short for the height of the counter, so we didn’t use those. We thought this place was a good value for what we paid. It was very clean, too.

Perfect walking location

Can’t beat the location of the property. Only downsides to the apartment are broken bathroom fixtures and poor water pressure. Would stay here again!

Quiet neighborhood

Very clean and comfortable. Loved getting to stay in a Charleston style house and show the kids all the features like the side porch. The neighborhood has a nice small grocery and several restaurants within a few blocks. It was very quiet at night. Truly enjoyed staying here.

Everything was clean but the bathtub was dingy and peeling. There was no furniture or suitcase rack to set bags on. Although it was walkable, it was a little much for an elderly traveler. Everything was about 2 miles. We never did get the washer to work properly? Overall, i would recommend

Great place near bus stop

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by this lovely upper apartment within a block of a bus stop to get the free shuttle. The place was clean, newly renovated and spacious. We were able to walk or take the free bus to downtown and lots of places to eat. Neighborhood felt safe. Highly recommend staying here. Large enough for 2 couples.

We'd stay here again

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious apartment with hardwood floors. The lights took some figuring out until we realized someone had turned off the ceiling fan/light by its chain instead of using the switch. The washer and dryer was a plus; bring some laundry soap with you.

Lovely Stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, about a 5 minute drive to downtown historic Charleston and Hampton Park for our dogs. We loved the natural lighting inside the rental. The only downside would be that you get some noise from the traffic below, but it's not horrible, especially since we sleep with white noise. Also, parking is a little tight in the back, but we have a huge Chevy Silverado and were still able to navigate without any issues. All in all, we will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Charleston with our dogs.

Nicely Renovated Charleston Upper

Nicely renovated with all the necessities and then some. Comfy living space and bedrooms, well appointed kitchen and bathroom. Especially appreciated king size throws for lounging in living room on chilly evening and morning. A couple more comfy chairs in outdoor space would be welcome. Location is close to historic area. Only downside is that proximity to medical center meant alot of sirens and helicopter noise you just have to tune out. Recommend it overall.

Disappointing

I would guess the pictures in the ad were taken a while ago. The apartment seemed run down to me. The walls needed painting and the floors needed scrubbing. It looked like the tub and shower enclosure were painted and the paint is now wearing off. There was rust around the fixtures in the bathroom and the towel rack kept falling off the wall. In one of the bedrooms, there was an inexpensive, full length mirror sitting on the floor so if you wanted to use it, you kind of had to squat down. The woodwork around the door to the apartment was scraped up like someone’s pet was clawing at it. The braided rug in the living room was smaller than the pad underneath and was splitting in several areas. There were portions of the walls where paint was peeled or scratched off. The one good thing is that you have a dedicated parking space so you don’t have to worry about parking. This place was one step up from mediocre. I wish VRBO allowed reviewers to post pictures.
