As you approach the building, you'll be captivated by its unique color scheme, featuring a vibrant green exterior and a coastal blue front door.

Step inside and discover your private first-floor unit. In the living room, vibrant pinks and blues create a lively and inviting ambiance. Woven window treatments offer both privacy and natural light, making it the perfect space for relaxation or entertainment.

While Charleston is known for its award winning dining, sometimes you just want to eat at home. Step into the inviting eat-in kitchen, where modern convenience meets stylish elegance. The space exudes contemporary charm, accentuated by the sleek grey cabinets and white herringbone backsplash. Equipped with stainless-steel cooking appliances and everything you need to whip up a meal, this kitchen is perfect for enjoying a meal with loved ones.

The Charles Suite features two beautiful bedrooms, each with gorgeous Serena and Lilly wallpaper. Bedroom 1 offers a king-size bed, closet, dresser, a desk for those who need to work during their stay, and nightstands with reading lamps for your comfort. Bedroom 2 features a queen size bed with a TempurPedic mattress, dresser, closet, and sconces for reading.

The unit provides a single bathroom with a delightful stand-up rain shower.

Outside, the shared backyard is a tranquil oasis, perfect for relaxing and enjoying Charleston's coastal climate. The yard offers a large custom pergola with built-in bench seating, a swing, and poufs, as well as additional Adirondack chairs for lounging and a large JENGA set for entertainment. Fire up the grill and enjoy some outdoor cooking.

Additional amenities at The Charles Suite include high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, children's toys/books, and free parking for one vehicle. Families will appreciate the availability of a pack + play and a highchair. Beach towels are also provided.

The Charles Suite offers a harmonious blend of serenity and accessibility. Within walking distance, you'll find cocktail bars, dining establishments, and boutique shops, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in Charleston's vibrant local scene and cultural treasures. When you're ready for the beach life, three breathtaking beaches are just a short 15-minute drive away. Whether you seek adventure or relaxation, The Charles Suite provides everything you need for an unforgettable getaway experience.

You will have exclusive access to the entire first floor unit, providing you with a private and dedicated space during your stay. Additionally, please note that the backyard is a shared space for all guests to enjoy.

NEED MORE SPACE?
We currently have 6 total units. There are 2 duplexes that are side-by-side. The green duplex has The Emerson Suite (top floor-3bd/1ba w/balcony) and The Charles Suite (first floor-2bd/1ba) and next door, the white duplex has The Harper Suite (top floor-3bd/1ba w/large balcony) and The Victoria Suite (first floor-3bd/2ba w/large porch). These two properties share a large professionally turfed backyard. Additionally, a half block down the street, we have another duplex with the Poppy Suite (top floor of grey duplex-3bd/1ba w/two balconies) and the Isla Suite (first floor-4bd/2ba w/porch), both of which share a professionally turfed courtyard. Be sure to check out the individual listings for a full list of amenities.

QUIET HOURS
Please note that this listing is situated on the top floor of a beautifully restored historic duplex. Although extensive renovations have been carried out, it is possible to hear occasional noise from the unit below. To ensure a peaceful and comfortable environment, sound machines have been thoughtfully provided in each bedroom. We kindly request that all guests show consideration towards one another by honoring our community's designated "quiet hours" between 10pm and 7am. By being mindful of noise levels during these times, we can maintain a harmonious atmosphere and ensure a restful stay for everyone.

EVENTS
Access to the property is restricted to only those individuals included in the reservation, unless prior arrangements have been made and agreed upon.

NON SMOKING
For the comfort and well-being of all guests, our property maintains a strict no-smoking policy. Smoking is prohibited on-site, and any violation of this policy will result in a charge of $250. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a smoke-free environment.

PARKING
You will have one parking space in our private lot. Should your group want additional parking, please contact us to discuss options! We also have one Tesla charger which would need reserved ahead of time.

PRE-APPROVED DOGS WELCOME
We wholeheartedly embrace our furry friends! We gladly welcome pups to join you during your stay, with an additional fee of $80 per dog, and a maximum of two dogs per reservation. Because you will be staying in a recently renovated unit within a property that may have other guests, we kindly request that all dogs are well-behaved, trained, and considerate towards fellow humans. To maintain cleanliness and hygiene, we kindly ask that pets refrain from accessing the bed, uncovered furniture, and encourage the use of a crate when you are not present, if you believe it is necessary. By bringing your pet, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility and liability for their actions and any potential damages.

For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, we kindly request that dogs are not allowed in the backyard. The yard has been professionally turfed to provide a pristine and pleasant outdoor space. Dog urine can create an unpleasant odor and potentially damage the turf. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping the backyard clean and odor-free for everyone's enjoyment.

CAMERA SECURITY
To ensure the safety and security of our property, we have installed exterior cameras. We want to reassure our guests that the footage captured by Ring cameras is strictly confidential and does not violate their privacy expectations. It is important to note that tampering with or obstructing the cameras is strictly prohibited. Any guest found attempting to disable or obscure the cameras may face immediate eviction without a refund. Our intention is solely to maintain a secure environment for everyone's peace of mind.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
We have a strict cancellation policy in place. Refunds will only be issued if mandatory evacuations are ordered by The National Weather Service or local government authorities. Please keep in mind that refunds will not be provided if inclement weather in other states prevents guests from reaching Charleston. We highly recommend travelers to consider obtaining travel insurance, especially during months when weather conditions may impact their stay. Furthermore, in the unlikely event of power outages, internet disruptions, or any other situations beyond our control caused by local storms, we will make every effort to resolve the issues promptly. However, we regret that we cannot offer refunds for any inconveniences caused by such circumstances.

We rented this adorable townhouse for our 30th wedding anniversary. We were able to bring along our French bulldog. It was a short 5 minute ride to downtown Charleston and enough away to be in a cute little neighborhood. Hosts were very attentive and communicative. We enjoyed our time there immensely. We would definitely go back again as we LOVE Charleston!!

We loved our stay in the Charles Suite. The home is beautifully decorated and has everything that you need for a comfortable getaway. We enjoyed our daily walk to King Street and exploring the Charleston area. Brandy is excellent to communicate with and will assist with any questions or needs you might have. We will definitely stay in one of Brandy's properties when back in Charleston.

We stayed here for a couple nights on our honeymoon roadtrip and very much enjoyed it. The owners have a book which is a perfect tour guide for your specific location and I can't say enough about how helpful that was for us! The decor was modern and the place has a warm feel to it. Everything was very clean, especially for a pet friendly place. The only thing we would have changed is having a TV in the bedrooms but that might not be an issue for other people.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at our rental through Charleston Suites. Our unit was very clean, well outfitted (kitchen, bedding, bath linens...) and super comfortable. Often times we find the pictures to be quite misleading but in this case they were right on. Our time in Charleston was lovely! We found some excellent dining options in this transitioning neighborhood. We will definitely consider renting again from this family.

The apartment is just as beautiful in person as it appears in the pictures! The hosts were wonderful about communicating check-in, recommendations, and ensuring we were having a good time. Everything you need to cook, do laundry, or even go to the beach is available in the apartment. Itvwas an easy drive to the beach, the Isle of Palms, and downtown Charleston. Very close to the airport too! The only true negative is that it’s a first floor apartment and the upstairs visitors were pretty loud while we were there. If you are a light sleeper, this may not be the place for you, or you may just want to come with earplugs. The hosts supply white noise machines, which is very thoughtful! Definitely check it out!!!

You have set the property up well with everything we needed and cleanliness was awesome! Everything for check in, parking and check out expectations were made very clear. The house has on-site parking for one car, which is amazing for downtown Charleston. The house rules are simple. The house was very clean. Check out was wonderful - the easiest I have seen. It was nice not cleaning before check out. The host was fantastic! Communication was excellent. She allowed us to check in early for a small fee. Great experience.

The Charles Suite was a clean, bright, inviting and comfortable stay. The owners are great communicators and sent messages throughout the trip sharing info and recommendations for places to visit. The only thing that was a little confusing was that it is a pet friendly rental, but it does not specifically stipulate that the dogs are not allowed in the shared backyard. There is a picture of a gate that says "No Dogs Allowed" but I didn't get a message stating no dogs allowed in the yard until the day we arrived. Overall a great visit!

The house is beautifully renovated, nicely decorated. Kitchen is very well equipped. Bed was very comfortable (always a concern of mine as I have lower back pain). We also enjoyed the location, about 20 min walk from king street, 40 min walk from city hall. But the walk is so pleasant with gorgeous homes along the way. If you bring your dog, the Brittlebank park is just a couple minutes car ride away and our puppy enjoyed going there every morning. In summary, our stay was extremely enjoyable. We absolutely do recommend this home. Definitely the place we will stay when we go back to Charleston.

This home was exactly what was pictured. It had everything and more that we needed. Although located 1.25 miles away from the Historic neighborhood, the neighborhood of the home was super nice. There are cute coffee shops and restaurants in walking distance. A Lime Bike charging station is around the corner which made getting to areas near the bay quite convenient. It would be awesome if homeowners has an outside storage/locker for suitcases since they have a strict checkout time. It would help when flights are later in the evening. Highly recommend a stay!
