The Space:
We are thrilled to announce that this unit is now equipped with state-of-the-art Dyson hair dryers. Whether you’re preparing for a day of exploration or an evening out, enjoy the convenience and sophistication of a salon-quality hairdryer right in the comfort of your unit. It’s just one of the many ways we’re elevating your experience with CHC Vacation Rentals.

This Suite is a peaceful and private apartment for two. Sleep comfortably in a queen size bed and relax in the cozy living area. The kitchenette includes a full size fridge, microwave, toaster oven, induction cooktop, dinnerware, and basic cooking tools. Please note that there is no dishwasher or traditional oven.

Guest Access:
This is a private apartment with it's own separate entrance. Guests have access to the shared courtyard, patio, and heated swimming pool.

The Neighborhood:
The property is located in the Cannonborough Elliotborough neighborhood of Downtown Charleston, which is considered the most upcoming area on the peninsula. The neighborhood is perfect for a couple or a group who is looking to fully embrace Charleston's unique charm. Step right outside your door and find a wonderfully curated mix of shops, bars, bakeries, and dining. We recommend grabbing a coffee at Island Provisions before exploring King Street, Charleston's ultimate epicenter of shops and restaurants, which is just one short block from the property. Our guests have a wide selection of walkable dinner options, some of our favorites include Chez Nous, Chubby Fish, Bistronomy by Nico, and Vern's. Come experience all that our beautiful city has to offer!

Getting Around:
Charleston is a walking city! Uber is widely available. If guests do have a car, we provide ONE (1) off-street parking space. We suggest to bring an economy size vehicle to help with getting around Charleston's narrow downtown streets.

Other Things to Note:
• Please note our strict cancellation policy
• Streaming device provided as opposed to standard cable
• The temperature is controlled by a Nest Thermostat. We keep the temperature between 68-72 degrees depending on the season. We are happy to adjust based on guests needs.
• Please be considerate of our surrounding neighbors and keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM
• 1 off-street parking space provided at no additional cost. Additional vehicles must be parked in the nearest parking garage. Our parking spaces have a vehicle restriction of 6.5 feet wide, and 16.5 feet long. If the provided parking space is too small for your vehicle, you will be directed to the nearest parking garage
• Free Tesla and EV charger located on property in dedicated charging space for guest use only.
• No smoking within 30 feet of the front of the property. Violating this rule may result in fines.
• Check in is at 4 PM, Check out is at 11 AM. Please consider these times when booking travel as we can not guarantee early check in's or late check out's.

Wonderful nook

The location is an ideal spot for being near the main hubs of Charleston but in a spot that doesnt feel busy. It has a great courtyard and very quiet. Would stay again.

This place is perfectly located off of Upper King and was very charming with all the Charleston feels you would want. We had an issue with the place being a bit too warm for us when we first got there, but they quickly addressed it.

Quaint suite in a great location

We had a great stay here. It is a small place but has just what you need to make your stay a success in Charleston. Its location is perfect to get to the many restaurants and shops on King Street. The only thing that I would like in the suite is control of the thermostat.

Best Place Ever

For staying in downtown Charleston this was the BEST place. So close to everything and to be able to walk to everything and stay where it looks like Charleston. The court up was our favorite with the large koi pond and heated pool. Clean, updated and so comfortable. Again best place ever.

This studio was very charming and just as described. It fit 2 adults well but would have been tight with a child. The grounds/courtyard were kept up very well and the pool was warm for evening swims. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful property at the heart of Charleston

Everything was clean and felt like new and luxorious, though the houses looked historical from the exterior side. Heated pool was amazing and was cleaned from leaves and other natural rubbish every day. Walking distance from bars and restaurants were a big plus and historical Charleston is practically at the door step. Would definitely like to return here!

The suite was perfect for two. Small and cozy with everything we needed. Would recommend a small car if you have one as the parking space is very tight. Local bakery wonderful and a half a block down the road. Easy in and out and close via car to everything. Would book again.

Perfect pied a terre

We stayed here 2 nights while in Charleston for a wedding. Compact but very clean and just right for two. We enjoyed coffee by the koi pond each morning and felt far removed from the bustle of the city. The property was spotlessly clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Convenient to many restaurants. Most importantly, it comes with a parking space - a precious commodity in Charleston!

CHC Misrepresented this unit

This unit was advertised as a one bedroom and one bath unit. There is no bedroom and the unit is beyond tiny. There is no closet space or drawers. The parking is two blocks around a corner over broken cobble stones. This unit was blatantly misrepresented.

Historically cute.

It's a really cute one bedroom inside a historically house. It comes with a pool and two Koi water lily ponds. The only downside of this is the electrical usages. When you use the hair dryer or turn on the hot water it flickers at times. The refrigerator /freezer needs to be "defrosted" along with new ice trays. Otherwise, it's in a great location to Charleston! Thanks for the memories..

Great location

Small studio apartment close to King St. and excellent restaurants. Great for a couple and the patio is beautiful. Parking is fine, and you don't need a car. Can get around the City on the free trolley which starts a couple blocks away. It was not well equipped, as other apartments that we have stayed at. There was no coffee, tea or any other condiments. No wine glasses and only two drinking glasses. This is an upscale apartment, and I would expect more amenities.

Nice place but poorly managed

When we arrived there were dirty towels laying on the couch and sheets from the previous occupants on the floor. Also, the couple in the room next to ours was given a different room than the one they reserved. The owner told us over a month ago that she would refund our money. We still have not received a refund and she has become completely unresponsive.

The unit was very clean.

Charleston was wonderful. The unit was ok. Very clean but the ceiling lights did not work. I came into a dark unit that I had to fumble through to find a lamp. I contacted the owner and she/ he txted me that I should pull the fan cord. I did with no success. No one came to fix it and so I returned to the unit every night in the dark. Brick walkway to the unit down the alley is all broken and raised. Be very careful you don’t trip or twist an ankle. TV has no service. If you aren’t technically savvy to stream HBO, Netflix etc. you are out of luck. No local news or TV. Would I stay here again? No
