Perfect location for Charleston and awesome spot to visit with multiple friends or family members.

We loved staying at 77 Society. It was the perfect location to all the King Street Shopping and Restaurants your heart desires. We would stay again.

Unfortunately our stay was short but what a location. It is walking distance to most everything in this historic city. Lots of food and night life options as well. The rental is very old and does show some of the wear and tear but well decorated with antiques and comfortable. Would be nice to have some time to sit out on the large porch and listen to the city.

Beautiful neighborhood, plenty of shopping and choices to eat out. The residence was 5 star'ish. We stayed for 3 days but did notice that it had all the amenities to live long term.

Couldn’t ask for anything more. This place was well located for easy walking everywhere in the Historic district. Tastefully furnished and well equipped. I would recommend this apartment for any future visits.

Wonderful old house with lots of wood and character, but with modern kitchen, bathrooms, and conveniences. Large space, well stocked kitchen, bathrooms, and linens, good WiFi. Great location about midway on the main King Street, no car needed to visit the whole downtown peninsula. The rental property is on the second floor. Great communications with host that provided plenty of clear, thoughtful information. Thanks!

The house on Society Street was a pleasure to stay in. The house is old with lots of character. If you're looking for a brand new place, this isn't it. The house was charming, clean, and well maintained. The location is perfect to walk or ride bikes to downtown Charleston. The host communicated everything timely and clearly. We had zero issues and would stay again.

The location was central and easy to get everywhere and having off-street parking was great. The apartment was clean but needs maintenance. Specifically, there were holes in the walls that need to be spackled, fixtures in the bathroom falling away from the drywall, drawers missing, drawer handles broken or missing, room fans broken or not working, rocking chairs broken on the porch.

Great location. Very easy walk to everything in historic Charleston. Nice that there’s also free parking on site. The host was easy to reach and responsive although we had no reason to ask for assistance as the unit had everything we needed for our short stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location, sparkling clean, well equipped and comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this classic Chaleston Single. Easy walking distance to everything. Off street parking a definite plus. Bit of a challenge wrestling luggage up two flights of stairs, but a minor challenge at best. Look forward to returning.

We loved this house. It was so charming and had a lovely historic feel that we were looking for. It was the best location. We were able to walk everywhere. We felt safe and comfortable. There was room for our whole family to have their own space and enough room for our long time Charleston friends to visit us too. Thank you so much :)

We loved being able to go shopping and then bring our bags back to the house. When we needed to just rest a bit or freshen up it was so convenient to to pop into the house and then get back out into lovely charleston. We didn't have any issues but I knew David was available 24/7 if needed. Thanks!

Well we had no dryer. And 1 of the beds were broken.

Unit was cute and matched description. Great location near lots of shopping/dining. We didn’t move the cars once we arrived. Parking is great. We fit both our vehicles in the 2 allotted spaces. It is an historic home so the stairs to get in are a bit tight but there are handholds. Overall a great stay

Across the street from 2 great restaurants and a bakery. 1 block from Market Street with more restaurants and shops. Right in the historic district and near the famous market. Lots of stairs. Good HVAC but you can't open the windows. We had the second and third floor unit facing Society Street which had a nice covered porch.

We loved this historic house in the heart of Charleston. The location cannot be beat! Having designated parking in the historic district is a rarity, and much appreciated. The accommodations were great too, the bed was comfortable, and kitchen well stocked (although we never cooked). Too much excellent food in Charleston for that! The proximity to Muse, is what drew me to Society street. I’d been there before, and it’s a unique local hang. We loved every aspect of out time in Charleston, and would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, you can walk anywhere downtown that you would want to go to in 15 minutes or less. Off street parking, which is almost unheard of, and extremely appreciated if you want to take a jaunt out of downtown and be able to park stress free on your return. The property is really neat and in great shape for something built in the 1840s. We had family of 5 and plenty of room for downtime, and all of the amenities needed. Property was clean when we got there, check-in was easy, property managers were easy to get in touch with and responsive. I would definitely recommend this location/host.

As many have stated, this was a great location. We were there during a chilly mid-week in January so not a lot of crowds out to impact the noise outside, but we are cityfolk ourselves. The property was large enough for 6 of us to stay comfortably. The listing could have been a bit more plain about this being 1 of 4 units on the property, but we saw no one else and likely had the rowdiest group with 3 kids. The furnace seemed a little touchy, but otherwise the beds were very comfy and we had a great stay. Walked up and down Meeting and King; could be to nearly all of the historic French Quarter/Downtown sights within 15 minutes!

We loved our stay in this historic Charleston home. 77 Society was built in 1841 and is centrally located in beautiful Charleston. There is lovely antique furniture throughout the home that is perfect in this historic home. The members of our party all commented how comfortable all the beds were, and we had everything we needed to make our visit enjoyable. Be sure to read about some of the Charleston history framed throughout the house. David was extremely responsive to the few questions I had. I highly recommend staying at 77 Society to add to your Charleston experience!

We were supposed to stay three nights but unfortunately the stomach bug got us before traveling so we delayed our trip. We did get to see things a bit but we only had one night. I will say that it is not very quiet and I definitely used the provided noise machine. The place is special but could use some upgrading here and there. Thank you!
