Our property is a legally permitted vacation rental as required by Charleston City ordinance. Our certificate of operational number is OP2024-05539
One block from the heart of the entertainment district of Upper King Street. You will know you are in the South when you are greeted by 6 large palms, a live oak, and a large sycamore tree at the front of the property.
The property consists of three rental units. Unit A which is the bottom floor of the historic house (this listing), Unit B which is the top floor of the historic house and Unit C which is the house in the back of the property.
When you step into Unit A off of the front porch, you will enter the living space. This area features an original fireplace and historic hardwood floors. The home was fully restored and renovated to provide Charleston charm with modern convenience.

Honestly might be the best rental I have ever stayed at - perfect location to get to King St without spending money on ubers. The hosts were amazing and communicated very well. Would definitely stay here again!

The location was perfect! It is a lively location so the bar noise can be loud.The only suggestion I have is that the above unit needs some carpeting to buffer the noise for the bottom unit. You can hear every step made.
We were 5 women friends for 50+ years. Loved the city of Charleston. Explored mostly on foot. Shopped, ate well, took Frankly Charleston tour and side trip to Kiawah. Loved it all. Note to future guests no coffee pot just keurig pods.
Stayed here as my daughter was getting married at the Historic Rice Mill. We had the bottom unit (A). Very clean and close to everything. Plenty of bedrooms for our party. Big kitchen area . They do only have 2 parking spots for each unit, so you just need to be aware if you have friends visiting that they don’t take someone else’s space. I needed to move our cars a few times as when the wedding party was getting dressed, both the wedding planner and the hair and make up company needed spaces to park. There are 2 parking garages just right down the street, so it was no big deal. Definitely recommend and would stay there again.
The PERFECT Bach house for our 10 girls (2 girls to a bed, including the sofa sleeper). It was walkable to pretty much everything on King, which saved us a lot of money on Ubers. We absolutely loved the location and the house itself was stunning and made for the perfect backdrop for all our photos. The house had everything we needed (glassware, vases, trays, platters, pitchers). Just seriously can’t say enough how perfect it was!
The only adjustment to make it even better would be a keyless entry - just with girls coming and going, having a door code would’ve been easier, but it really was not a big deal since multiple keys are provided!

This is a lovely home. Bright and open kitchen/living area. Very clean and well appointed. Comfortable bedrooms. The sound system is a nice touch. The location is great; everything is within walking distance or a short ride. Miki was wonderful to work with. Very quick to respond to messages. The entire experience was seamless. Would definitely stay here again!
