"Difficult to understand how people have left 5 star reviews for this property. The view out the window is nice but sadly the moment you turn around you see a shabby room which doesn’t seem particularly clean. The owner was friendly but in truth I couldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone."

"Let’s start with the pros: -rooms were clean and tidy. -pool and spa facilities (all outdoor) were a lovely welcome addition and access was easy and until 10pm. -evening food in the restaurant was nice. Cons: -my biggest issue with this hotel is health and hygiene. The breakfast was quite frankly inedible as the young lady doing breakfast service had left most things uncovered. Flies had literally swarmed the pastries, bread, jams and juices meaning that my breakfast options were very limited...

We could walk into Mons, which we loved, easily drive to visit our family and return to our quiet, peaceful B and B. Would will definitely return when we visit again."

The front door is just behind a restaurant door, not so easy to locate when the restaurant is open. Staircase is steep and narrow. The appartment is very nice, spacious, clear, and clean. "Our stay at Pierre and Martine's farmhouse was wonderful! The view from the backyard out into the pasture's is breathtaking and the kindness shown to us and our family was delightful. We enjoyed day trips to Brugge, Chimay, Dinant, Namur, and Bastogne. Also, don't miss Maresous Abbey a short ride away."
