"Nice host and lovely view"

"We absolutely loved our stay here. The pool was great, views were beautiful, the cave playhouse adorable…I could go on. The house was charming and had a rustic feel, but had everything you needed (great ac, fridge with ice!). It’s beautifully decorated, very clean, and stayed comfortable even on days where it reached 40 degrees. The WiFi was fast enough for us to take some video calls. The host was lovely. We’ll be back!"

"Great location. I was walking the camino mozarabe. This hotel is just off the trail, reasonably priced and does a good menu del dia. We choose from the menu for dinner and the dishes were excellent. "

"This was a good stop while we were property hunting. Although the room was smaller than we expected, it was clean and comfortable. I loved the sofa! We hoped the restaurant would be open, but must be more for the busy season. We found old town and the architecture was wonderful, then a good walk up to the fortress. If you do nothing else, go to the fortress. They said to allow an hour and half but we were there for almost 3hrs!"

"The beds were uncomfortable and the wife was almost hurt when she sat up and the bed tilted. The towels were like sandpaper. We had to phone someone to get in, who didnt speak anu english which I know isnt expected in their own country. Fortunately I managed. Others might not. Location was the best part of the visit."

"It was once a monastery and still feels like one. Personally we liked it but it was a bit heavy on the religious iconography. Great basic place to be in the middle of the old town."

"We had a very enjoyable and relaxing fortnight at Jerome’s lovely villa. The setting was absolutely stunning and the villa very comfortable and spacious. Beautiful views from every window and terrace. The swimming pool was very much enjoyed by the family, very clean and a good size for swimming. The villa is also well located, within a short drive to amenities and lovely hilltop tows but peaceful and not overlooked. Jerome was a great host, always quick to respond to any questions and generous with his knowledge of the region. We would definitely stay again. Thanks Jerome. "

"Back in 1970 this was probably a lovely hotel, unfortunately it’s not been touched since and is now very dated, worn and unkempt. The area outside is filthy and much of the local area is semi derelict. Soundproofing is non existent so you’d better hope for considerate neighbours. "

"Nice quiet location - handy for visting Priego and the surrounding countryside. Nice room and good pool. The staff were friendly. The restuarant was very good. My only faults would be that both the wifi and room keys were a bit unpredictable"
