Enjoy your evening by a crackling bon-fire, nestled by the rippling shoreline, under a midnight moon, toasting the perfect marshmallow. Maybe you prefer to enjoy a cup of hot cocoa by the fireplace snuggled next to that special someone. Fall asleep to the sounds of tree frogs and crickets.

This lakefront getaway is located in Chappells, SC on stunning Lake Greenwood. Surrounded by farms and hunting lands you will think that you have stepped back in time. When you first arrive to the property, you will notice a beautiful, 1700 square foot, custom-built, modern home constructed on a private, wooded, lot with large circular drive allowing ample parking for multiple vehicles. The home is situated on 1 acre and well landscaped and sodded and includes 200 foot of well cared for shoreline. This home is the perfect getaway for a couple wanting a romantic weekend or a large family.
When you walk inside, you will first be taken away by the amazing view of Lake Greenwood. The home was constructed around this view, so whether you are chopping salad or relaxing on the sofa, you can enjoy the scenery that awaits you. The open floor plan combines the kitchen/dining/living areas beautifully. The kitchen is well appointed with a granite counter tops, gas range, microwave, and dishwasher and Viking professional grade refrigerator. Detergents are provided. The dining space has a large table accommodating 6 easily, and 3 additional seats provided on the working/eating island.
There is a separate stainless steel bar area with a Keurig, coffee maker offee bar and Margaritaville Mixer for your beverage preparation. You will also find an assortment of coffee, creamer and flavors for your beverages as well. The living space comes complete with a large sectional sofa, chaise lounge and window bench seating. Relax and enjoy a nice fire in the gas fireplace. Or, enjoy some quality family time by playing some games. An ample supply of board games are available for your use.
There is high speed Wi-Fi available inside/outside. The living space has a 60 inch 3D Samsung Smart TV, wifi connected. Dish Network Satellite in both Living room and Master Bedroom. You will also find a selection of books to read while you are lounging in the sun. In addition, you have access to unlimited music library through Amazon Alexa Music unlimited
Walk with me to the Master Bedroom and you will surely fall in love with the French doors that open on to a private screened porch. Nothing is better in the fall, than sleeping in the large king-sized bed with the doors open and falling asleep to the sounds of the crickets chirping and tree frogs croaking. Then, as the morning dawns, the ducks will arouse you from your peaceful slumber. The screened porch has a table and chairs seating 4 and ample, outdoor furniture and a fountain for your enjoyment as well. The Master bedroom has a private bathroom with a standup shower, private toilet and garden tub with a large window above. The Master bedroom also has a 40 inch TV with access to Satellite, You-tube, Netflix and other entertainment options.
“Sol Mate”, bedroom #2, has a queen bed and a large double window with an amazing lake/woods view. This room is also equipped with a ceiling fan for your comfort. This room is smart TV equipped for streaming and a DVD player.

“Something’s Fishy”, bedroom #3, has been recently upgraded to a Queen size Bed with new mattress.(Nov. 2019)

The 2nd bathroom includes a tub/shower, sink and toilet.

For your convenience, the mudroom includes a washer and dryer and a separate exit to the deck for all the kiddos with their wet bathing suits. We supply detergents.
The lakefront deck is perfectly situated to watch the dawn break, the deer scamper, or the fish jump while you enjoy your morning coffee from the serenity of a rocking chair. Your sunset views from the deck are second to none. There is also teakwood dining table, seating for 12 on the porch.
As much as the inside living space will leave you well satisfied with your getaway, it will be the outdoor living space that keeps you coming back. The landscaping is well appointed and the sod is soft under your bare feet. The family will enjoy gathering under the outside kitchen that is complete with 2 oversized charcoal grills, refrigerator and seating for 6 under the shelter and 2 rocking chairs on the outside kitchen’s porch. There are 3 wooden picnic tables, 1 metal picnic table & chairs. There is seating for 40 in the outside area. There is also a propane heater to warm you on cooler winter days while you rock away on the porch.
There are steps provided to assist you into the lake for a dip to cool off. And, a boat dock provided for your watercraft or for the kids to enjoy a jump into the lake. The property does have corn hole, a pedal boat, 3 kayaks, and life jackets that you are free to use for your water fun. New for 2017, we have added 2 paddleboards! No other VRBO has so much to offer for family fun.

As the evening concludes, you would not want to miss S’mores over a bon fire in the circular fire-pit constructed with flagstone surround. Adequate seating around the fire pit is also provided. (Fire wood not included but plenty can be found in the surrounding area)

Just like any other lake, Lake Greenwood water levels will vary depending on the season and the amount of rain fall for that year. When at full pool, the water level at the dock is approximately 8 feet deep. Historically, the months of February and March will have the lowest water levels to allow owners to work on their docks. With the new constructed dock, guests will still be able to enjoy the lake. Watercrafts should be able to be docked or beached. Please feel free to contact us if any questions.

There are no cameras installed inside the house at Camp Q. The SMART TV in the main living space has a camera that is not active and has been covered as well.

Outdoor cameras installed for the only purpose of protecting both guests, hosts and the property. There are total of 4 outdoor cameras that monitors the surroundings. Three of the cameras do not actively record and the 4th camera only records with motion sensing.

•Bookings canceled at least 14 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund (Less any credit card processing fees from original booking)
•Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 100% refund. (Less any credit card processing fees from original booking).
Any service fees charged by VRBO are not paid to the owner, therefore, check with VRBO for refund policy on these service fees.
