"Stayed in room 3 (castals) large room. With en-suite four poster bed and furniture to match the room. Breakfast served in the conservatory, staff excellent, breakfast served promptly, good choice and sets you up for a day in Bath. Downhill walk into bath but public transport available if required 4 minutes away. Honesty bar available, rooms cleaned daily with tea, coffee and biscuits replaced daily. This is a beautiful house run by very friendly and professional staff"

Was a bit reserved about the shared bathroom set up but I did not have any issues accessing it when I wanted to. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely book again but would prefer a en-suite room next time. "

"Stayed for a full week to visit area. Room was large and very comfortable with large bathroom all in near new condition. We ate in the restaurant 3 times, good menu, not just your usual pup food, excellent standard, superb service. Breakfast has large choice, full breakfast was huge, all sourced locally and of high quality. Staff were very friendly, very efficient, new what they were doing. Excellent stay and would definitely recommend and return"

"Very good hotel. Room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. 15 minute walk in to town, so very convenient. All round a very nice place to stay. The only thing I would say is that the room was a little smaller than expected. "

"The bedroom was ok, but bathroom left a lot to be desired, less than a third of a toilet roll no spare, no glasses glass or plastic to clean your teeth, bath panel cracked, toilet needs a lot of bleach in it for it to be clean, soap dispenser in shower not working. Had a shower went from nice warm water to cold. Bed was comfortable and nice white towels. Room 4 right above the bar can be noisy would we stay again? No."

He was so kind and explained in detail how to get to the car park and recommendations around Bath. The room was clean and comfortable. You can hear people walking around but that’s to be expected in an old home. "

"The pub/hotel is on the Main Street across from the petrol station so we expected it to be noisy but thankfully it wasn’t in the room. You check in at the bar which can be problematic if you bring your luggage in with you as it can be packed with bar patrons. The rooms are in a separate building which is quite new, parking is first come first serve for both hotel and general public so we had to park down the street until we could find one closer. Dinner at the pub was good, but recommended that...

"It was a great stop for us in our walk in the area . Staff very kind and friendly , food tasty (we had the homemade curry ) . Drinks were also good we had a draught beer and cider. It’s lovely to find people taking on a business and improving it . We didn’t use it but there is a large car park and garden at the rear "
