I rented Spring Hill Inn while visiting UConn with my daughter. Itās less than 5 minutes away and the stay was fantastic. Lee welcomed us and greeted us warmly. He was happy to to share about the history of the home built in the 1700s. Lots of character but at the same time very well appointed and comfortable with renovated bathroom and very comfortable beds. Our first time at this location, we stayed here 2 nights while attending the May 2016 Brimfield markets. Easy on/off route 395 in a quiet area by an industrial park and rr tracks. About a 30 minute scenic drive to Brimfield (395N to 131 to 20). Although the hotel is 18 years old, the rooms were redone 2 years ago giving it a very modern appearance. You were a little worried about coming to this property because of other reviews but I have to say that we had an amazing time at this hotel. Our room walked right out to the pool. The hotel is across the street from junkanoo beach. Itās about two minutes away from the fish fry. The room was very nice. There were some things that didnāt work properly but nothing we couldnāt get over. The staff was really helpful and amazing there. I would stay here again, especially at a really good price.
