"A fabulous house for a truly lovely break away. Lovey spacious accommodation, done to a very high standard. Everything we needed was there. I would highly recommend it and we hope to go back. Do try to arrive in daylight hours as it is not the easiest to navigate in the dark."

"Me and my 5 friends had a lovely time away. There were stunning views and the house was large and comfortable. Fun board games and a lovely hot tub. We all agreed that the main thing that let it down for us was cleanliness. We had to hoover and clean when we got there - there was a lot of dog hair (we didn't bring a dog). One of the bathrooms was particularly dirty - black mold and black grime in the shower, plug full of hair so wouldn't drain properly. The grass in the garden hadn't been...

"We booked Fairnilee House for our big family Christmas. The house surpassed all our expectations and was just amazing. Luxurious furnishings, comfortable beds, fantastic showers and despite its size, extremely warm and felt just like home. The house is extremely well equipped, with an extensive selection of crockery and glassware which made for some beautiful suppers in the grand dining room. The property is just 15 minutes from excellent amenities but it feels like you are in the middle of...
