"I cannot begin to put into words what a special time we had at Juniper Cottage. It is such a cozy, quaint space, with the most gracious hosts. This listing is pristine, organized, well stocked and most welcoming. We were absolutely charmed by the neighborhood beach, as well as the town of Jarvisburg. We also loved how convenient it was to local beaches, tourist attractions, and delicious restaurants. The highlight of our stay, though, was the Wii, lol! We loved it. Overall we couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and it is all thanks to our EXCELLENT hosts. Honorable mentions: gated deck that our doggy could sunbathe on, good water pressure, reliable wifi, and a super comfy mattress. We loved our first OBX experience, and we will absolutely be back again! "

I wish it was a little bit closer to the beach as we encountered a very large snake on the way back from the beach and our 8 minute walk turned into a 22 minute walk from the beach. The property manager was responsive when we needed her. "
