"The hotel was clean and our room was large with a beautiful balcony. So we could sit out in the early evening for an aperitif before dinner. The restaurant was lovely and all the food delicious. We had a lovely afternoon tea and it was at a good price."

"Staff were very helpful and friendly. Fortunately they helped with our bags as there is no lift and the rooms are located up several different staircases on various levels! Room was clean but quite small for the price although breakfast was included. Opening windows. Food in restaurant is pretty average and anywhere else is a big hike without a vehicle. Location is on an extremely steep hill - but St Peter Port is all like that so wear good walking shoes!"

"Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. All food was great, breakfast set us up for the day! Good Location just outside St Helier centre and a fabulous tidal pool to swim in the sea just opposite the hotel. Outdoor pool at the hotel is heated to a good temperature."

"5 ⭐️ staff and service. The hotel overall is lovely, it is dated in some places but very clean and well presented and maintained. I pointed out to Will and Trond on reception a couple of issues with my room (as constructive criticism, not a complaint) that my bijou single room has the smallest shower unit and toilet space I have ever seen on my travels, it is not suitable for a large person; and a small fridge in the room would be nice to keep drinks cold. "We had a twin standard room so wasn't expecting too much, but we had a lovely view into town with the sea in the distance. The bath over the shower was adequate, the toiletries were plentiful and the room was small but perfectly acceptable. The food was great, plenty to choose from at breakfast and dinner was great value at around £33. The spa was amazing! Already looking at when we can return. Thank you. "
