This property was fantastic- exceptional cleanliness, beautiful location, close to the beach and restaurants but tucked away so that it is not loud, very friendly staff, overall beautiful place that I highly recommend and would gladly return to.

Great hotel!

Amazing hotel with extremely friendly staff. My only criticism is the size of the sofa beds, I am 188cm tall and could not stretch out. Other than that, perfect.

Folia hotel apartments was very well kept, clean, newly renovated and everything was in good working order. They had a very nice breakfast buffet everyday for 10 euros. The pool area was clean and beautiful. We paid 3 euros/day to park our car. The driveway up was steep and the parking spot a bit tight, but everything worked out great. We even had a little patio area out back for eating and viewing the sea. The owners and staff were very nice and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel.

Sejour a la canee

Sejour de 4 nuits dans cet hotel. Le personnel est adorable. Attentif et toujours souriant. Le petit dejeuner est varié. Notre chambre avait vue sur la mer. Hotel tres propre et calme. Plage accessible rapidement a pied. Transports, magasins et restaurants a 3 min a pied.

Hotelli oli siisti ja mukava kaikin puolin. Aamupala oli hyvä ja riittävä. Hotellin henkilökunta oli erittäin palvelualtista ja auttoivat esimerkiksi suunnittelemaan päiväretkiä eri nähtävyyksille. Palvelusta antaisin enemmän kuin 5 tähteä jos olisi mahdollista. Suosittelen hotellia lämmöllä ja palaan varmasti itsekin uudelleen. :)

Fantastisk familievenligt hotel i rolige omgivelse

Hotellet ligger tilbagetrukket i smukke omgivelser med udsigt til bjergene og vandet/bugtene, og olivenlund. Vi havde en dejlig balkon med udsigt til bjergene og vandet. Hotellet har en hyggelig og familiær atmosfære og der er stor hjælpsomhed af brødrene der driver hotellet. Personalets venlighed er også i top og rengøringen ligeså. Morgenmaden er glimrende og alsidig. Hotellet har vores største anbefaling.

Nice family owned hotel. The two brothers working at the front desk were so kind and friendly. They helped us arrange our COVID-19 tests prior to our departure. The breakfast was excellent and the grounds were beautiful and well kept.

It's a somewhat older property, but very well maintained, and the management is helpful and friendly. Buffet breakfast can be purchased at the hotel for 6 euro per person per day if taken for the whole of your stay, or 8 euro per person per day if used occasionally. The buffet is modest but reasonable for the cost. On-site parking must be reserved by contacting the Folia management directly after you make your booking on Expedia. The pathway to the parking spaces is quite tight, and requires expertise in maneuvering. About four additional spaces (usually occupied) are available on the small street directly outside the hotel. Parking is easy and abundant on the cross street 50 meters below the hotel (Ioannis Kapodistrias). It's a 200m walk to the main street of Agia Marina where frequent buses run to central Chania, and also to the Alexandra supermarket. The beach is another 150m beyond that. Overall, it's a great value and we had an excellent stay -- buffet breakfast, quick swim at the hotel, drive all over western Crete in a rented car, with seafood dinner in some small town, and back for a quick swim in the evening.

The stay with folia apartments was superb ,cleaned everyday , lots of space, bed very comfortable and bathroom came with an excellent shower. The whole hotel was surrounded by a well cared for garden and the staff and managent made you feel at home they was so friendly and made sure you had a wonderful time. I liked the breakfast that was available, very varied choice and selection. Also the staff and management greeted the guests throughout the day. The overall decor and the picturesque apperance. Very well maintained, with beautifull plants and trees. A very well architected building.
