Little lake house/ Fish cabin get away

Our little house is a work in progress but still a great getaway. Private community boat ramp and pier at lake 600 feet down street from cabin. Plenty of parking. Nice community pool with small playground adjacent. Pool closed on Mondays. Pool open Memorial day to Labor day.. Wooded back yard with fire pit. Sleeps 5. One large bedroom with King size SLEEP Number Bed! Small bunk room with bunkbeds. Top bunkbed does Not have quard rail. Bottom bunk okay for little ones.
Futon makes full size bed. Full kitchen including blender for smoothies or your bullet proof coffee. Coffee pot of course.. Also has crock pot, electric pressure cooker (like instapot),
Inside electric grill, air fryer and waffle maker. Outside charcoal BBQ grill.
Decks outside of bedroom and in back. Suddenlink hardwired internet and wifi. Please smoke outside to respect others. Come get away and enjoy Lake Palestine in Chandler Tx.

Texas High School Bass Association State Championship
This was our second stay at this property. We were at the house back-to-back weekends to prepare for my son's bass fishing tournament and then compete in the 2 day event on 5/18 and 5/19. The house was perfect for our needs as the private neighborhood boat ramp allowed us to launch near our primary fishing location.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this cute cabin. The kitchen was perfect for making breakfasts and heating other meals. My husband also used the charcoal grill for delicious hamburgers.

Lake Palestine Fishing Trip
My son and I spent three days on Lake Palestine pre-fishing for the Texas High School Bass Association state tournament. The house was perfect for our needs. We were able to back a 21' boat and trailer plus truck right next to the front porch for battery charging and gear prep/organization. We also had access to 3 private boat ramps in the neighborhood which saved us money and travel time. We are scheduled to stay again the following weekend for the tournament and are looking forward to our stay.

Pretending it's Nana's house
My grandkids live on the lake as few miles south of this cabin. We spend days with them, but it is fun to bring them here, make cookies, dinner, relax with them, let them play assorted games.. just have a change of scenery. Much better for us than staying in a hotel room in town.

Feral cats everywhere, apparently they’ve been let in the place, reeked like cat piss, my coworker was allergic to cats , spent the first night breaking out in hives, eating Benadryl. Left after one night. The second bedroom is a walk in closet that they were able to fit bunk beds in, cobwebs, dust and downright filthy. The bedsheets were clean, had to bury my face in them to fall asleep so I couldn’t smell the cat piss. My advice, burn the place down.

Great for a few days
Used the property primarily for sleeping. Word of Caution: Some of the carpet edges are curled upward and cause a tripping hazard. Be very careful. The house was very clean and had everything you would need for a long stay, dishes, silverware, etc..
